Two of the ways the Chamber helps business...

One of the ways the chamber of commerce helps business is to promote them and provide additional exposure than they would otherwise receive.  Two projects the chamber undertakes with its partners are magazines and directories.  These projects for 2013 are:

  • Discover West Valley City magazine
  • Welcome Utah! professional directory
Each serve a specific purpose.  Discover West Valley City magazine is a professionally produced glossy 8-1/2 x 11 magazine that includes many stories and articles about West Valley City.  The distribution is to many residents within West Valley City but also specific areas in Salt Lake County who come to West Valley City for shopping and entertainment.

Welcome Utah! is the chamber's business directory that is mailed to all new residents and businesses each  month during the year.  Membership directory information is supplied by the chamber of commerce from its membership database in December of each year.

Discover West Valley City magazine was awarded "Best Chamber Publication" by the Utah State Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Utah! is included in the other award the chamber received, the "Best Chamber Benefits" award.

The chamber hopes you will participate in these magazines and directories.  Other chamber supported magazines have included: Taylorsville Spirit and Kearns View magazines.
