Legacy Awards Gala Recipients Announced and Awarded last night



ChamberWest recently held the 2011 ChamberWest Legacy Awards Gala recognizing area businesses and individuals who give time and talents back to their respective communities.  These outstanding businesses and volunteers support their communities in various ways. These include Paint-a-Thons, complimentary meals for outstanding students, support of local non-profits, Spirit Night fundraisers for student-run organizations or just donating time back to their communities.  Award recipients announced at the event included:
  • West Valley City Business of the Year – Chick-fil-A
  • Taylorsville Business of the Year – Zions Bank
  • Kearns Business of the Year – Utah Olympic Oval
  • ChamberWest Business of the Year – ROSI Office Products
  • ChamberWest Volunteer of the Year – Candy Michels – CM Accounting & Bookkeeping
  • ChamberWest Volunteer of the Year – Tom Fairbrother – MaxImage Printers
  • ChamberWest Legacy Award – Costco
We are grateful for the support of our strong local business community who provides some of the momentum for the growth that is occurring on the west-side and the presence of Mayor Winder, Mayor Wall, Senator Ross Romero and a number of city council members, community volunteers and our wonderful business community.
